Welcome to the Slobodkina Foundation,
a non-profit organization. Building upon the creative achievements of artist, author, and children's book illustrator Esphyr Slobodkina, we provide a model for individuals to live productively at every age through programs that enrich the minds of children and elevate the spirit of seniors.

The Foundation provides children's literacy activities, discussion groups, art tours, and interactive performances to school groups, senior organizations, and community groups. We achieve these goals fully utilizing the fine art, illustrations, and decorative works of Esphyr Slobodkina, created throughout nine decades, housed at the Slobodkina Foundation in Glen Head, New York.
