WELCOME to the Slobodkina Foundation, an organization dedicated to perpetuating awareness of the lifetime achievements of Esphyr Slobodkina (1908-2002). The Slobodkina Foundation was created to educate the public about the work of Esphyr Slobodkina and encourage others to pursue their dreams through awareness of her inspiring accomplishments. To this end, we provide year-round tours of the Slobodkina House Museum, readings and performances of Esphyr’s literary works, lectures, and public art exhibitions. 

Our website is designed with interests of many in mind, including educators, scholars, parents, and collectors. Those interested in learning more about the art and life of Esphyr Slobodkina can access essays and articles about the artist, and can view examples of her paintings, sculptures, children’s books, jewelry, dolls and various other works. The expansive online art gallery offers prospective buyers an opportunity to view works conveniently. We provide detailed information about each piece and a link to our art sales representatives.

Parents and teachers will find information about upcoming children’s programs and services, and a handy list of Slobodkina’s books for children, complete with synopses. We make it easy to purchase book merchandise by offering everything in one place. All books and posters are special editions embossed with the Slobodkina Foundation seal.
